and even my poly MIM Tele.(Can't imagine ANYTHING doing much to Fender standard Poly. I would hate to have stupid looking scars on my headstocks- my mostly tungoil finished Tele neck, my 70's D28, my 60's 0018, my 70s GIBSON(!). I mean, I generally avoid reading such stuff. Or, is this just anti-litigation, CYA, nonsense of the variety that must ALWAYS take up more space than actual instructions with any item purchased nowadays? that pretty much covers all my guitars, and, pretty much all the guitars I've ever heard of! Has anybody had actual issues from this clip-on? ".SNARK advises NOT to use its tuner with any instruments having these types of finishes: Nitrocellulose Lacquer, Polyurethane, French Polish, Oil Finish or Gibson guitars. So yesterday my Snark arrives, and, I foolishly peek at the instruction sheet that accompanies it, and read the following: "Do not use on any Gibson guitar or any guitar with nitrocellulose finish." they were good when there weren't so many options, but, they did tend to not register well sometimes, and. In the olden days, I had a couple of those intelli/intellitouch clip-ons, and. I love my Korg PitchBlack stomp box tuner for the most part, but, there are times when I want to use a clip-on for an un-electrified acoustic, or, even a Tele -as back-up or for a more simplified rig. The other day, I hiked up my cargo shorts, paused in my screaming at people to get off my lawn, and ordered a Snark Super Tight clip-on tuner.įeel like I've heard lots of folks swear by the Snark.
